This limited edition Sourgrass Travel Print is a giclee print from an original watercolor painting with hand drawn lettering done by Dave Christian in 2019. This print features the falls just below the Sourgrass bridge on the North Fork of the Stanislaus River. The me-wuk Indians first inhabited this area, calling it Wa Ka Luu Hep Yoo (sometimes spelled WaKaLuu Hep Yoo) which means β€œwild river” and represents the wild forces of the western slope of the Sierra. Situated on the banks of the rugged North Fork of the Stanislaus River, the campground remains an important cultural site for the Mewuk, who seasonally occupied the river canyon for over 2,000 years.

This print is available online in 11x14 or 16x20.  30x40" canvas print size is available by contacting me in the Contact portion of this website.
